A multilayered image created by merging real world and virtual world components. Where, the circles were drawn by hand and scanned, the lines were drawn on a computer, and the overall aesthetic was created using some bespoke Photoshop actions, actions designed to introduce a controlled level of noise to give the image a depth and interest beyond the initial coding.

Making a set of twenty foundation layers to combine. There is (maybe) more to be made of each individual layer too. But that will be for another time, if it ever happens at all.
